What is a safety and security laminate?
Safety and security laminates generally are micro-thin multiply inter woven polymer transparent film called P.E.T that is combined with aggressive bonding adhesives that once applied to the interior side of glass makes it highly resistant to natural disasters, break-ins, bullets and even bombs mitigation.

Armourcop explosion-proof glass laminates is a Class A Super Optical Clear and Tough PET material with special formulated strong adhesive (HIRA).
2. What type of guns and bullets can Armourcop laminate withstand?
From handgun to rifle and bomb mitigation depends on glass thickness and numbers of layers installed
3. What are the differences between Explosion-proof sheet and Bulletproof glass ? Armourcop Explosion-proof laminates come in form of roll. While Armourcop bulletproof glass is a combination of bulletproof sheet and glass. Comes with stainless steel frame, Ready to use.

Once you have become our dealer, we will provides ready made training manual and video.
5. How long does it takes to dry the laminates after installation?
During installation of film on glass surface, water is use to provide flexibility during installation. Thus water moisture and air bubble is captured between glass surface and film.
To have it 100% effective, the water moisture between the glass and film needs to be totally dried off and allow the adhesive to stick hard on glass. In normal condition or room temperature, it requires at least 30 days for total dry up. If hot gun n blower is used, then the drying time is shorter.
6. What are the equipments required for the installation of laminates and sheet?
In installation of the film, you would require:
* Water sprayer
* Stationary blade (Thin type)
* Ruler
* Hard Water Squeezer to remove water and air bubble
* Clean cotton cloth

7. Do I need special knowledge to install the film / laminates on glass.

8. What is the duration or endurance of the laminates property?
5 years warranty on material property. However, the laminates will last as long as the glass last, Thus, it is almost eternity.
9. Do I still need additional glass protection beside laminates / sheet on glass:
Armourcop laminates is tough enough to withstand any great impact which may penetrate the glass. Thus, with our explosion-proof laminates, you do not need other glass protection material. It makes penetration to be very difficult or to almost impossible.
10. Can I cut the laminates to specific design like flower for decoration on glass and yet obtain the security level?
No...it needs to cover the whole glass without any punctual on its combination strength.
11. Do we need to install the laminates right inside the frame of window or door?
No.. Laminates only need to install on the visible surface of glass, Does not need to dismantle the frame. But the glasses require frame to hold the glass, It will be weaken if install on glasses without frame. For explosion proof level, installation is require to the edge of the glass covered by the frame. Which means film should go inside the frame. You can use anchoring system as well to hold the laminates to the window frame.
12. What are the differences between Armourcop Laminates compare with others in market?
Not all laminates can be armored proof, bulletproof or explosion proof. It requires special Adhesive, Process and Know How in order to achieve high level protection against heavy weapons and explosive.
13. Can Armourcop explosion-proof laminates / bulletproof sheet install on Vehicles?
Yes, it can be installed on Vehicle glasses for the purpose of protection against Burglary, Smash and Grab, Explosion, Stone throwing, Light handgun, explosion, etc.
14. Why immediately after installation, the laminates still can be peeled off easily and like not sticking at all?
Yes, because there is still water moisture in between the glass and laminates. It requires at least 30 days in total cure at room temperature.
15. Is there anyway to shorten the drying period and allow it to stick well on glass?
Yes, Use hair dryer or Industrial Hot gun blower. Blow at the laminates and back glass surface for at least 30 minutes daily. This will shorten the cure by 7 ~ 14days. Do not use any hair dryer or heat generating equipments to dry off the surface, this will damage the film property.
16. Sample. Distributor are requested to buy sample for test. Armourcop do not provide free sample. This is our standard policy.
17. What is the lead time for major dealers purchase?
20 ~ 30 days. If we have immediate stock, minimum of 3 days is require for delivery process. Depends on quantity as well.
18. How can we apply for Regional or State major distributor?

20. How many cars could install with One Roll of Armor proof laminates?
As our standard roll dimension is 1525mm x 30 meter, please divide it to the total glass dimension on the vehicle with an allowance of 10 ~ 15% for wastage at corner or shape forming. In average for 4 windows with single layer, it is about 13 cars.
21. How many color does Armourcop explosion-proof laminates has?
Our standard laminates are clear, no color is available due to lack of demand in color. However, special order of minimum 200 rolls can be arranged, such as Gray, Charcoal, Black, etc.
22. Can we apply another solar film on top of Armourcop laminates? and how?
Yes you can install other color solar film on top of Armourcop laminates after 3 days. If immediate installation is require, please consult us.
23. After applying the laminates, some water mark can be seen. How to remove it?
Water mark can appear after installation. However, it will disappear by itself automatically by time. Approximately 4 ~ 8 weeks.
Expose the glass to direct sun would help the water mark or small bubble to dry off in shorter time.
24. If some air bubble occur after few days. How to remove it?
Bubble should not occur during installation. If it happens after few days, it will disappear by time after the glass is exposed to sun light.
Usually is after 30 days.
